To show grace to yourself – you who are working so hard to keep yourself and your loved one afloat?
We constantly beat ourselves down (we all do) telling ourselves we are not good enough, we aren’t working hard enough, we need to do it better.
You are amazing. You show up. I see you. No one said it had to be perfect… that is an illusion.
There is NO-THING wrong. You are okay. You have thoughts that feel hard and out of control at times. It is okay.
Without constraint, our brains like to keep us safe and in familiar territory. Often that comes with self criticism and put downs. We are all human. Your brain just needs some redirection.
Take pause today even for just a minute. Show yourself some compassion, some grace. Take a deep breath. No, I mean a really deep breath, repeat.
You showed up, and you are doing this. You will figure this out. You are loved.
